MHOS Meeting Schedule - 2008
MHOS meetings are generally held at 1:30 pm on the second Sunday of each month. For some months, the date may vary due to holiday or conflicts with other events.
- January 13 - Pot Luck Holiday Dinner (postponed from December 2007 due to bad weather)
- February 10 - AOS slide show about orchids of Madagascar.
- March 8 - (Saturday) Spring Sale and Blooming Orchid Display. View/print sale flyer.
- April 13 - Diagnosis Day with Ron Midgett of New Earth Orchids. Bring your ailing plants for diagnosis and advice. Ron will also have many (healthy) plants for sale.
- May 4 - (a week early because of Mother's Day). Speaker Judy Becker of Lauray Gardens will talk about plants that grow well with orchids. She will bring plants to sell.
- June 8 - Strategic Orchid Growing: review of roots and potting moderated by our Program Secretary.
- July 13- to be announced
- August - No Meeting
- September 14 - J&L Orchids will give a talk on Pleurothallids, miniature orchids of the Andes.
- October 11 - Fall Show and Sale. View/print sale flyer.
- November 11 - to be announced
- December 9 - Pot Luck Holiday Dinner
